Bill to Temporarily Fund Government Released

Bill to Temporarily Fund Government Released

The new Continuing Resolution was released late last night. This proposal would fund the government through March 24th.
There are dozens of major changes in health care included in the House continuing resolution legislation. There is no guarantee this will pass as-is, but GOP leaders have certainly sweetened the deal with policy changes and new spending across the government in an effort to attract votes. House is expected to vote Wednesday or Thursday. The Senate will follow. The government runs out of money Thursday night.
Most important in this bill is that the swing bed cut was not included. Thank you to all who signed our letter and called your member of Congress to oppose reductions in CAH swing-bed reimbursement rates.

Here is the bill language, and here is the summary.
