New Analysis of Rural Health Disparities Throughout the U.S. Released

The Rural Health Information Hub, RHIHub, has released an updated analysis on health disparities and best practices for providing health services in rural America. The report compiles data from federal and private partners working to help understand and reduce health disparities. Comparing metropolitan and non-metropolitan counties, RHIHub has found that nonmetropolitan counties have a higher instance of the five leading causes of potentially preventable deaths. Nonmetropolitan counties also have a lower life expectancy across the demographic board.
